HGD Endstufen

HGD 01 and 03 are a series of bipolar chopper drives, suitable for driving medium-low power two-phase stepping motors, with four, six or eight terminals.

HGD 01 and 03 are realized in 70 x 70 mm format and are equipped with separated solder type connectors for logic signals and for power connections. They are designed for easy soldering and mounting on customer
realized PCB.

This series of drives is intended to give a high torque and high speed alternative choice tot IC drives with higher reliability.

R.T.A. experience, together with a careful design for these specific purposes, has led to a high reliability component, in spite of its very competitive cost.

The wide range of voltages, current and resolution available ensures an easy use in any application.

Standard input and output signals ease interfacing with the most commongly used control systems and ensure high noise immunity.

  • Operation at 200, 400 e 800 steps/revolution, setting by means of hardware connections.
  • Motor phase current setting by means of hardware connections. Up to six possible equidistant values between INF min. and INF max. can be set.
  • Automatic current reduction at motor standstill.
  • Possibility to switch off motor current with an external logic signal.
  • Protection against a short-circuit at motor outputs.
  • Protection against under-voltage and over-voltage.
  • Overheating protection.
  • Operation with a single external supply voltage.
  • High efficiency CHOPPER with MOSFET final stage output.
  • Electronic damping facility for acoustic noise and mechanical vibrations reduction at low and medium speed.
